Be Decorous In Your Utterances Ahead of 2024 Election – Charles Owusu Cautions | Politics
Charles Owusu has urged political leaders and all Ghanaians to be decorous in their utterances.
He cautioned against trying to cause divisions among people, warning that the “tongue is too dangerous because it is what we use to bless and curse.”
He stated that the use of obscene language and raining insults on leaders, chiefs, and President of the Republic and at one another is not the right way to go.
He recounted how politicians of different political affiliations are friends privately, hence telling those who follow them to note that “it is an ideology we are backing and that we don’t hate ourselves.”
The former Head of Monitoring Unit of the Forestry Commission further warned against the tensions leading up to the 2024 elections saying “it’s like a do-or-die affair.”
“I will plead that because election is a process and not an event,” the actions and utterances of people should be in good taste, he admonished on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show.
