Philadelphia Church Founder Recounts How Bawumia Surprised Him At His Father’s Funeral  | Politics

The Founder of Philadelphia Church of Yahweh, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah has made a touching revelation of how the Vice President and NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia surprised him during the death of his father.

Dr. Bawumia, as part of his final campaign activities in the Ashanti Region, visited the Philadelphia Church with his Running Mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and other leading members of the NPP on Sunday.

Welcoming Dr. Bawumia to the Church, Pastor Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah highlighted the character of Dr. Bawumia, especially his thoughtfulness and generosity.

The Pastor told the thousands of his congregation about how Dr. Bawumia surprised him with a container load of items to support the funeral held recently.

“At the funeral, I saw a container arrive and I asked then where is this from. They said it is from Vice President Bawumia to support the funeral…The container was opened and everything was inside. I was so surprised that I asked that is it really from the Vice President and they said yes”, Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah testified.

The Founder of the Church stressed he didn’t expect such gesture from Dr. Bawumia and so he was touched by his benevolence.

Together with his congregation, Pastor Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah prayed for Dr. Bawumia, calling for God’s favour for him to succeed in upcoming Saturday’s general election as President of Ghana.
