Speaker Bagbin Adjourns Sitting Indefinitely | Parliament
The speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin has adjourned Parliament indefinitely following the Supreme Court’s ruling.
According to him, the House has the numbers to transact business but not to take decisions.
“I have consulted leadership and I’m exercising my discretion to suspend the sitting of the house, indefinitely. The house is accordingly adjourned” he stated.
This means bills and other business of the House have been suspended.
