Ghanaians Will Never Regret Trusting Bawumia & NAPO; They’re ‘Ideal Candidates’ – Asebu Chief | Politics


Okatakyie Prof. Amanfi VII, the paramount Chief of the Asebu Traditional Area in the Central Region, has commended the New Patriotic Party for presenting two competent candidates, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, on the party’s 2024 presidential ticket.

He describing this ticket as an “ideal ticket” for Ghana.

According to the Chief, who is also a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), both Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh are hardworking and results-oriented leaders with great passion for the development of this country.

He reposed confidence in the two leaders saying “we all know the good works and laudable achievements of Dr. Bawumia as Vice President. We also know the good works of NAPO as Minister of State in this government. I have full confidence in them and can say without doubt that if Ghanaians repose their trust in these two great men, we will never regret”.

The paramount Chief made these comments on Friday, September 6, 2024, when the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, paid a courtesy call on him and his elders at his palace.

NAPO, who is on a campaign tour in the Central Region, was accompanied by Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Chairman Danquah Smith Buttey, Hon. Egyapa Mercer and Henry Nana Boakye.

The NPP Vice Presidential Candidate visited the Assin North, Assin Central and Abura Asebu Kwamankese constituencies.

While touching on the projects undertaken by the NPP which include infrastructure projects and the party’s flagship programme the “Free SHS”, NAPO assured the Chiefs and the constituents that the next NPP government led by Dr. Bawumia would ensure continuity and completion of all projects.

He called for massive support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the party’s parliamentary candidates compromising Charles Opoku for Assin North, Godfred Nti Anawu for Assin Central and Kobin Eric Nyanteh for Asebu Kwamankese.
