Bawumia Hailed For The Fully Constructed Tamale/Yendi/Tatale Road | General News

A beautiful and proper road has been constructed by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government for the residents in the Northern Region.

The road which is from Tamale through Yendi, Zabzugu to Tatale is said to be a very important road network which until its construction, especially the Yendi-Tatale stretch, by the current government had never attracted the attention of any government since independence.

The Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cut sod in Yendi to begin a 160 km road construction in June 2022 and promised it would be completed within 2 years. 

Remarkably, Dr. Bawumia has fulfilled his promise as the road has been fully constructed within the two-year period to the delight of the residents.

The road, which was in a very bad shape impeding vehicular and human movements, is now an express road serving several communities and significantly making it easy for travels and boosting the business economy in the Region.

Travel time on the road which used six hours or more from Tamale has now been reduced to less than two hours on an average speed limit.

Many Ghanaians have praised the government, particularly Vice President Bawumia for facilitating the project to be completed within the duration as well as the developmental projects in the North championed by him.
