NPP SHOWDOWN Election: Breakdown of Voting Pattern As Bawumia Wins 14 Out of 16 Regions | Politics


The just ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primaries, dubbed the “Showdown” contest between Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and his closest challenger, the MP for Assin Central, Hon Ken Ohene Agyapong, churned out some interesting results nationwide on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Dr Bawumia was elected as Flagbearer after securing 61.47% of the valid votes, polling 118,210 votes out of 193,339 cast.

He won 14 out of the 16 regions, with second placed Ken Agyapong winning two regions – the Central and Volta regions.
